While I do find his intentions commendable, I find it ironic that the one player that made such a comment is probably the worst possible fit for a European PG (especially Italy). Starbury has been shoot-first his entire career. He can get a team to the playoffs but is poison for any hope of a championship.

I think the Marbury (and Iverson to some extent) type of '1-2 fusion' guard is an endangered species in today's modern game.
