This is how I rank the different options for playing this hand:

1) Just call the 1,800
2) Do what I actually did
3) Call the 4-bet shove

This one time maybe. R/R Shoving is always preferable with jacks to number 90% of the time. Doing what you did is preferable much less if you ask me.
