All,

I actually find it a little odd that everyone treats the mod forum like a place where normal site rules don't apply. Whatever, I don't care and I sure as f don't care about profanity, but I just think it is really weird.

Specifically, it has been said by Mat that the policy exists largely because Mason doesn't approve of foul language. If that's the case, why is everyone so gleefully tossing around bad language in the mod forum of his site?

Anyway, like I said, this is not something I care about. Just an observation re: something I find a little strange.

i think this is just the mods sending a message to mat / mason / ryan that we should improve hte profanity filter (specifically to accept wildcards)

I think this is just the mods screwing around. I specifically do not want to see the filter accept wildcards because then legitimate words get censored and we still haven't solved the problem (fukkin).
