anyone who cashed out using WU recently would've seen this coming. i did a few weeks ago and it seemed like the shadiest thing ever. the transfer was listed as originating from some woman in the phillipines, and the email confirmation from bodog said not to mention bodog or online gambling to wherever you picked it up.

Gotta agree there, I felt like a drug dealer or something (and I am a respectable looking older guy). At least I got the money, but I had to get multiple checks (they wouldn't cash more than $1K a day). My bank was weird about it when I deposited them. Damn, I miss those direct deposit days.

of course it wasn't on the up and up, but atleast they gave it a good try. the first time i did it, they asked me a bunch of questions about where it was coming from and made me call the main office and get a new control number. every thing worked out o.k.

If WU doesn't want to do business with Bodog that's one thing, but Bodog needs to come up with something better than a 30-day wait. I also would have appreciated an e-mail from them explaining the situation, it's like they were hoping we wouldn't notice.

I'm a bit worried now as I initiated a $700 WU cashout just yesterday which has already been approved, I'm just waiting on the control number.

lol good thing my WU cashout went through fine yesterday. now if only my checks would arrive before the WSOP with time to spare for them to clear...

Honestly I have had no problems with Bodogs cash outs. WU was obviously the best way but I also requested a check via courier and recieved it in about one week. There customer support is pretty good in comparision to most other sites.

So true. "Hi, my friend Tito sent me $3000 from the Phillipines. I'd like to pick it up please."

Does anyone else have a time-frame with getting checks through courier from Bodog? I think it says about 20 days on the site. Obviously this will be the method most of us will be using now. 'Stosh
