come it was almost dead.

but anyway, something ive noticed

the people who are attacking jman, ive never seen before and tend to give terrible analysis of hands

the people defending, seem to be proven online winners and seem to make more sense in analysis.

maybe its a coincidence

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you'll find the coincidence is the live players having a go don't play online - they play live. See why you are wrong now?

[/ QUOTE ]

a proven online winner at MSNL is in a completely different league from a 2/5 or 5/10 live grinder. The average competition you face at 5/10 live is about the same as at 25NL online, maybe 50NL if you get a "tough" table. And the reason he's not wrong is that not a single one of you has said anything at all strategically correct about a single hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think not mucking a hand before you know who won is strategically correct.

[/ QUOTE ]

im sure you do but you're dumb so who cares?

ROFL, shall we put this thread to rest now and look forward to the 500k table

with no Jman

and with no mucking of the winning hand by the real pro's

[/ QUOTE ]

fwiw there are 1/2 players online who would be +EV against this line-up

Hah, I think this thread has now officially hit its ridiculousness limit. Actually, that probably happened a couple hundred posts ago.

Did anyone ever figure out who Phil H was talking about regarding the hole-in-one at Augusta?

Re: High Stakes Poker thread (10/29 - spoilers possible)

He was talking about Russ Hamilton, the 1994 WSOP champ. He and Phil are good friends because of their affiliations with Ultimate Bet.

it doesnt really matter if you disagree with me b/c i know more a/b poker than you. thanks for your input though. Sorry that you people refuse to believe that being on TV or winning a tournament doesnt make someone good, but its not going to make me lie to you and say that people like farha, doyle, etc are high-level NLHE players.

Sshhhh, Don't Tap the Glass!

let future think his 1/2 pals can beat people playing 300/600 and higher. after all thats why they are still playing 1/2 - because they can beat 300/600

oh wait

Re: High Stakes Poker thread (10/29 - spoilers possible)

i didnt say i was playing 1/2 (in fact you can see a few posts up that im obv not), but someone beating any limit higher than 1/2 is obv going to be +EV there. also, waiting for some sort of reason why you're thoughts on poker deserve ANY consideration at all. i posted mine, you still havent said anything remotely correct in the entire thread outside of "jman shouldnt have mucked a winning hand."

just lol @ any of you who think you are watching a really tough table on this show. also how many of you have ever played w/ any of these people, or any big famous live tourney pro? i think its funny that everyone who has (including me) says most of them are trash and you guys (who have only seen them on TV lol) are giving authoritative assertions on the difference between these guys and people beating MSNL online (none of you can). So what is it you guys are basing your arguments on? b/c mine are based on being good at poker, having played online and live, and having played against live pros.
