Also, for some reason I was thinking of this: if SSNL has a theme song, it clearly needs to be "Small Stakes" by Spoon. Not up for debate.

wow. yes. song here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=tsHlKYElKX0

"Small Stakes Give You Blues
But You Don't Feel Taken Don't Think You've Been Used
Cause It's Alright Friday Night To Sunday
It Feels Alright Keeps Your Mind On The Page

Oh Yeah Small Stakes Ensure You The Minimum Blues
But You Don't Feel Taken And You Don't Feel Abused
Small Stakes Tell You That There's Nothing Can Do
Can't Think Big, Can't Think Past One Or Two And Awlright!"

Their Underdog song has been on XM a lot lately, I like it.

Hyachachacha

I have spinal disc herniation. I injured my back doing deadlifts and lately my left leg has been killing me.
I got a CAT scan this morning which should tell me how serious it is. Hopefully it won't require surgery, which apparently doesn't even work all the time.

Ouch. Do everything you can to avoid surgery. I know back doctors who would never elect for lower back surgery because total relief is not always guaranteed. Get a few opinions. When I hurt my back I went to 3 doctors before I found one who identified my exact problem and gave me a cortisone injection that fixed things up for the time being.

Nath,

Nice song selection. Of course, AJ and I prefer High Hopes, but I will defer to your wisdom on this matter.

ike,

Sick ring bro. Well done! She will love it. My wife has petite hands so she hates big rings, but loves channel set diamonds.

Worm,

If you dig this chick, then just take a break. Maybe she will come around eventually, but the timing just isn't right. Oh yeah, LOL at any woman being low maintenance over the long run.

Lol, I realize that any woman is not low maintenance over the long haul, I was just making a comparison to my other relationships. And yeah I'm def. taking a break, if it works out, it works out. Not worrying about it anymore.

Worm,

In all seriousness, I wish you well. You seem like you are able to step back and analyze a situation without injecting a lot of personal bias. That trait will take you far in life.

Well, at least you have great doctors there in Iceland, so if you do have to go under the knife, at least you are sure to be in good hands.
