PLD was safe there. That was a really good slide. What bothers me more about the wrong call is that Randolph is on the bench picking his nose. At least get out there and get between Duke and the ump, before he gets himself tossed.

Is it me or has umpiring been just horrendous this year. I know the Mets have gotten a handful of calls but it just seems to me they get screwed with a called twice or three times a week.

I dunno. It has seemed bad. Maybe we are just noticing more this year as every game really counts for us. Unlike last year and the horrendous years before last year.

ya it does seem like all the breaks seem to go the other way against the mets. so many games this year that coulda been won if one play went the other way
