Full Tilt has the hand histories saved as temp files how can I make them permanent

[/ QUOTE ]

Either check the "move observed files to acrhive" option on the FTP settings dialog. Or have PokerTracker do the same thing.

[ QUOTE ]

When I play HU tables I like to click on the stats and bring up the bigger in detail stat boxes and leave them up. It would be nice if there was a way to move them. As it now I bring the stats up and move the table to accommodate.

Also, It would be excellent if you could add a feature for HU tables that splits all stats into BTN and BB positions

[/ QUOTE ]

You can drag the detail box around with the right mouse button

If you set up the filter option (prefs->Filter) to be max 2 players, you get a special HU detail with a lot of the stats split betwen Bb and button. You probably want to set up RT in another folder and only use this version when playing HU. I think I put a screen grab of the detail window somewhere earlier in the thread. Definitely a 'beta' feature.

Definately an amazing program.
One of the stats that I cannot find that is listed on the statistics page is the limp-fold%, I see the limp-call, where can I find the limp-fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

In practice it is pretty close to 100-limp call. Not many people Limp-raise a great deal.

[ QUOTE ]

I'm convinced that this problem is caused by my stupid cake skin and not realatime. The client is extremely erratic in saving hand histories. Sometimes itll save all the hands , sometime itll save none, not even create a file with the name of the table. Can any of you find a walk around? Cake is pretty much a hopeless site when it comes to add onsoftware.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it could be a combination of your computer and Cake's non-3rd-party friendly software. As I said, I have no problem with Cake. For a cpl of other sites I have to copy the HH file to a temp file and then read the HH file. I'll do that for Cake as well next build.

[ QUOTE ]

When I minimize table windows to the taskbar, sometimes I can't bring them back. I click on the taskbar and the table doesn't appear. If I disable realtime's tracking of that table (by unclicking the checkbox) I can then restore the window. Very strange. This is on Full Tilt. Anyone else come across this?

[/ QUOTE ]

Wierd. Works fine for me. You can also restore the table by dbl-clicking the tables in the Realtime window. You are running as administrator right?

Also I'd like to remind you again that I think I came up with a temp solution for the problem. Goin to the Players Only HH folder and clicking on the HH file for that table gives an error saying that the file is in use. After that all stats update to the latest ahnd automatically. Hope this allows for an easier implementation.

Thanks again mike

This thing has been real hit and miss for me with UB. Sometimes it appears to work, but it doesn't update. I have very few hands on all players, etc. Have you done any testing with UB in the latest revs? It works fine for me on FTP.

Thanks!

I had it going fine on UB, now it seems to think that Full Ring tables are Six Max(I assume -says 0/6 under fish on tables with 9 people on them).

I just started playing on Carlos poker (ipoker skin) and although realtime recognizes the tables Im sitting at, I don't get any stats for the table or the player.

Your History Folder: C:\Poker\Carlospoker\History\myusername
Archived History: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\HHs

I've specified the correct username.

Any suggestions?

Any chance of adding support for prima skins?

I think it might be harder than a regular site because the HHs are stored in a DB file, not in text files.

Dear god please.

This software is great, but the stats are horribly inaccurate for around 40% of the of people I play against. Like off more than 5-20 points from their true VPIP according to Hold'Em Manager.

You are sure the filters on HEM aren't set? The only other thing I can think of is that HEM is including FR stats for ppl in 6-max games - I don't include anything for >3 off the button.

I did check the stats against PT awhile ago and everything seemed to match - not saying it is impossible I messed up in the meantime though

I have both set to filter for only 5-6 hands.

Realtime HUD is still off a ton to the point it is almost unusuable. Holdem Manager matches with PT2 almost exactly, so it's definitely Realtime HUD that is off.

This is for about 2.2 million Party Poker hands that are imported via the rebuild database via archiving method. Tried rebuilding again and the results are just as screwed up.

Metreon,

That's pretty disturbing. FWIW here are my HEM summary and stats from the RT "Save as Text" options. They all match except the CB. Not sure exactly what is going on there. Possibly due to differences in definition of a CB in a reraised pot but I am surprised they are off. I looked at 6-7 random donks (like I'm not one too?) - their stats matched up too.

So to get it straight - you exported your hands from PT, imported into RT and the VPIP and PFR of a bunch of villains doesn't match?

[/ QUOTE ]

Right, not all the hands were exported PT stuff though. A lot of it I had just saved from before. Don't think that makes a difference.

Either way I imported to HM and Realtime at the same time and the numbers are way off for VPIP and PFR. Maybe for other stats too, once I noticed the VPIP/PFR was off I just didn't use them for those players. It is probably at least 20% of players are off by 5 points or more.

mikechops 11-25-2007 10:28 PM

Re: help!

That is very strange. I'd say maybe some hands were observed and you had PT stats for some people that were based on them, but RT didn't have those hands available. But that doesn't explain why the RT stats don't match up with HEM...

I'd ask you to send me a bunch of HH's but unfortunately I'm in the middle of a move right now and my develeopment PC is packed away. I should be settled in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll get back to you then?

with poekr stars the HUD runs still without any problems.

i deleted already the database of absolute poker, but it doenst help. the HUD creates a new database-file but this stays on a size of 2 KB.

then i downloaded the realtime.exe again but this was without success, too.

Re: help!

First time user of ur product here, Mike:

Is the "database" that RTHUD builds a physical file that I can move between computers? e.g. I have a few computers i play poker on, but so far I've only configured the RTHUD db on Laptop #1, and it took me several hours, b/c I had to first import a few million hands from PT, and then build the RTHUD with them...that took a while. And I'd like to not have to repeat that process, so can I just instead move the DB that RTHUD 'builds' between computers somehow?

(Also, another question: if I build the RTHUD database with one batch of hands, and then want to 'add' another batch of hands, is RTHUD smart enough to know that i don't want to DISCARD the HHs I've already imported? e.g. will it just add the new batch of hands, or will it OVERWRITE the DB it created with the first batch? hope that made sense...)

mikechops 11-26-2007 08:34 PM

Re: help!

What you are doing should work. The *.rtm files contain the database info. I haven't made a lot of multi-million hand db's though. If the files get so big that they are larger than your available RAM then you may have problems.

When you rebuild a database for a site, you are prompted to ask whether you want to clear the database first. If you don't the hands will be added. You might encounter import speed problems if you don't have all the hands together in one folder. In particular, if the set of hands you are importing is older than the already imported hands, RT has to insert them into the middle of the db rather than just plonking them on the end. It wouldn't surprise me if it were quicker to just rebuild everything from the same folder. That way RT can sort the files by game number, importing oldest first and not have to do much insertion into the middle of the game number list.

Are the *.rtm files in a database format I can access with some utility? (If so please let me know) or are they your own custom format?

Lol, never even noticed that -- i know why, though: the CONTRAST on my laptop is very poor compared to my desktop monitors (which i'm now reading this thread on and I can see the faint white on yellow). Not to hijack this thread, but is there a way to change the CONTRAST on my laptop's LCD display? I did a lot of google searching on this issue but came up empty. I see the blue "Fn" keys on my laptop's keyboard that let me change the BRIGHTNESS but I don't see anywhere I can change the contrast...any ideas?

What is it?

The Realtime HUD was created to display statistics on online poker players. It currently works on7 sites; Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars, Party Poker, Absolute Poker, Ultimate Bet, I-poker network and Cake Poker. It builds a database of stats directly from the hand histories saved by the poker sites and does not depend on any 3rd party software such as Poker Tracker.

Bug on iPoker:

Realtime counts players into hands which they weren't dealt cards. Some guy kept timing out instead of posting blinds for a few rounds (he seemed to sit right back after timing out) never actually getting a hand and his vpip and hand numbers kept changing with every hand.

I was only playing one table on iPoker so couldn't of been him playing on another table.
