lol. gsykes was so disappointed yesterday. i wasn't upset, because i figured i had <1% chance of being chosen and only applied after jay made the comment about liking guys that switched from limit. gsykes actually had a legitimate shot (obviously), so it stung way more for him to be looked over. with the way it went down, though, i bet it makes him 10x happier to have made it (you're a sick man, jay). congrats.

Too bad I missed this thread while I was away for a couple of days, as I was very interested in this offer when I read the first post just 10 minutes ago before reading through the whole thread.

Anyway, congrats to 'the chosen ones'! This seems like a lot of fun and I hope you guys will learn alot of from this.

damn i'm pissed i missed this, i think i would be a pretty good candidate. i hope you do this again very soon. these are my last 2 months at 100nl6m. i've only played like 5k hands this month because i was home for 3 weeks after my father passed away. on my site there is no 200nl 6m so i've had to grind out 100 for longer than i'd like. i'm mainly concerned with my semi-nitty stats (20/14/2.2) and how they will translate to the pretty big jump in limits. i've been on these forums for almost 3 years and was a 6-8ptbb/100 winner at 400nl pre-legislation. i have never been coached or mentored and really think it would improve my game to where i can comfortably play 2/4-3/6 again and maintain a comfortable living.

I wish this was cross posted in the Limit --> NL forum I frequent. Was it cross posted in any strategy forums?

Seems kind of backwards looking for people with high strategy/BBV ratio by posting in BBV.

I would have LOVED to do this, this is exactly what I've been looking for. A small community of extremely dedicated, thinking, small stakes players. I've pretty much made the Limit --> NL forum my home for this reason since Micro Stakes is such a zoo.

Realizing I missed this opportunity has ruined my night. Seriously.
