Re: My biggest pot yet
After he 4-bets me it has to be AA or KK, but I remember Victor's QQ threads and I am tilting anyway, so I shove and hope for AK. Oh well, he has AA. Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, CO raises to $1, Hero raises to $3.5, 2 folds, CO raises to $11, Hero raises all-in $20.15, CO calls. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($40.7, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $40.7) Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($40.7, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $40.7) River: T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($40.7, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $40.7) Sure got me off tilt. |
Re: My biggest pot yet
I accidentally removed all filters on PokerTracker tonight, making it grind for minutes to compile stats for all 152,000 hands of poker I played in the last 18 months.
I am actually just around break-even, so thank god for bonuses. Also, in the field of variance, these are my top 9 hands in terms of BB/hand: AA,KK,AKs,QQ,A4s,AKo,QTs,TT,66. |
Re: My biggest pot yet
Anything I can do here? Nearly 200BB deep was super close to calling but in the back of my head all I could here were the 2+2 "never fold KK preflop" voices.
Villian is 20/17 over about 100 hands but I've not got any notes on him. Prima Poker skin No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $101.21 hero: $90.10 Button: $44.15 SB: $48.23 BB: $62.52 Pre-flop: (5 players) hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises to $2, hero raises to $7, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG raises to $22, hero raises all-in $83.1 He obviously had AA but am I being results oriented or am I being closed minded with the "no foldy AA pre" thinking? From his stats he is solid so isn't 4-betting much, not with the coldcall from BB. Once I push I can't see him calling with anything other than AA. The other argument for folding was that I'd only invested $7 into the pot, so I could get away pretty cheaply, or in this case I couldn't get away |
Re: My biggest pot yet
I would have just called the 4bet.

Re: My biggest pot yet
God this hand titled me soooo [censored] bad. Guy was terrible. He was aggro with a good hand and passive without one, so I had no doubt I was ahead on the river.

BRAG: I think I\'m finally getting this game.
I had a horrid limit downswing in August, at the end of which I decided I really had to try to learn NL, at which I had been unsuccessful for some time.
I rebuilt my demolished bankroll by nitting about at NL25 until I felt confident (and bank-rolled) to try my hand at NL50 again. Since then (August 22) I've been running totally nucular (TM GWB): http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/6...0070912jo8.jpg NB: I'm also halfway thru Professional No-Limit, which is already influencing my game, though I think that finally understanding the idea of pot size control was more important than anything else. |
Tinfoil hats on standbay! PokerTracker.xom hacked!
Hello,
Hopefully needless paranoia, but I've already posted across the NL forums, figure I shouldn't leave you limit people unaware [ QUOTE ] For those that don't regularly check IG or SW forums..., Xpost: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...=0#Post12076073 Be careful. Finished PNL
Wowza... was travelling across the country today and I stuck PNL in my bag before I left. I had gotten caught up in some other stuff and had neglected my reading, but still played here and there a bit.
Talk about paradigm shift... the SPR stuff is mind blowing. |
