But he had some gtems when he was here, namely i am freshnan backup QB and maybe yuo dont understand poker very well. Hi friends,

After some time of hiatus, I am back (not fully). I am currently in Brighton, England for my semester abroad. I've been here two weeks and finally I have internet.

This summer was quite eventful and busy for me, and I worked my tail off at my job. (And even got a few endnote credits! holla!) I came home for two weeks, spent three weeks at Davidson with my gf and now am here until December.

The university's network blocks Skype and appears to block poker clients. I haven't played poker since May, so that's not a huge deal. I have found the two casinos here. One has a two-table card room and the other appears to be about 10-12. 50 pound 1-1 NLHE. Yuck. Although I did steal my friend Phil's Professional NLHE, which appears quite good. When I finish I will probably try and wreck these silly Europeans at their own game. Plus 50 pounds is tons of $$.

Anyway, does anyone know a workaround for the Skype and FTP block? Skype is most important, as I have already spent 100 pounds on cell phone minutes.

I'm having a hard time being away from my, especially with her at Davidson and me all alone and five hours time zone away. I went to Scotland this weekend, which was awesome, to visit some fratfriends. I got drunnnnk for the first time in a long, long time. I then wandered all over the Old Course at night. I didn't drink all summer and I think that I grew up quite a lot of the summer, especially with maturing feelings toward my gf.

Anyway, I'll probably be boring y'all with my lame questions but cool pictures.

Here's one. I took better ones in Scotland, and will throw those up later. Also, imageshack.us keeps crashing my browser (IE is the only browser that works, wtf?)

dear lord.

made skype work.

have to disable zonelabs firewall and run proxifier. made firefox work too, have to set it connect to the university's proxy url. firefox doesn't work (nor does ie) under proxifier. but skype does, so now i'm not spending $1000/month on mobile phone minutes. but i could, sine i'm a balla.

Just as a note for all concerned parties, the UIGEA regulations were officially published today. I don't have a good executive summary for you, but I encourage people to go take a look at the thread in the Legislation forum. People are currently working to understand just what it all means, and you're welcome to look at the regs yourself.

all, im all fired up about 6max right now and so naturally im interested in maximising my edge and that includes table/seat selection.

Im kinda interested in tailoring that post for 6max but I just dont quite feel qualified so Im instead issuing the challenge to anyone who feels they can take the FR content and massage it into a 6max version and post it in SSHE. Ive got my thoughts on what needs to change which Ill share with anyone thats interested but suffice to say most of the stuff at the start is reasonably generic and should be fine mostly as is. However obviously I'd like it to have good examples etc etc as well as massaging some of the details so I'd expect anyone who tackles it to be experienced in fishmax at the lowerlimits. Ill be happy to datamine and get some PT screenshots so that the look/feel with my OP is consistent. Hell, I COULD take a crack at rewriting it myself but Im a bit lazy right now and I think someone else could do a better job, particularly if they know their stuff when it comes to reading VPIP/PFR/AF type stats on PAHUD.

so if you want to do this, PM me and we can go from there. Im happy to be involved in editing, proofing etc etc but I need your help

So a newish friend of mine invited me over to join the festivities which are Monday night football and Heroes. I'm not incredibly big on football but I have been interested in Heroes. I have been intending to watch it from the start someday from DVD. Under the assumption they don't happen to be starting at the beginning, wouldn't the experience be more engaging starting from the beginning? It's not like friends, star trek, simpsons and most every other show on earth where each episode is a near wholey self-contained storyline is it?

lol. Maybe, they showed one angle where it looked like he brushed it, but there was a lot of dirt. I still don't see how that ball bounces up and back onto the field without hitting something behind the yellow line so it's probably a wash...

Heroes is cool, but the storyline isn't so complicated that you'd be unable to just start watching now. You'd have the toughest time figuring out who has what power, but once you have that, you'd be able to do alright.
