Culpepper has a demonstrable effect on his own defense, he makes them absolutely horrible. In Minnesota he made their pass defense perennially ranked in the bottom 2 or 3, now that he is in Oakland he is making their rush defense the worst in the league.

Which really goes to show his versatility.

EDIT: Wow, Culpepper actually IS the anti-Vince Young.
