Good God, my worst fears have come true. At the Lounge, much unlike the city of Boston, I am alone as a self-destructive, Irish-American recovering alcoholic. At least the Season Five teaser promises us that McNulty is drinking again.

Is this show out on DVD? I never watched it during its original run, and it never made it big in syndication later. Does it hold up after all these years?

It seems that the first two seasons are out on DVD, but no more.

With all the crap that is on endless repeat nowdays I have no idea why this show is not on at all.

I haven't seen it on in years - but I think it would not only hold up, it would put most cop shows since to shame.

Hopefully I will get hold of a few episodes real soon.

Lucius Vorenus (right) and Titus Pullo (left) from HBO's Rome.
Both were pretty likable, though more so because they were surrounded by some pretty ire inspiring characters. It was a great show overall. The set/costume design and writing are among the best I've seen on TV.
