I am feeling the same void with BluffTHIS! Ever since he and PokerBob started their staredown there has been something missing in my life. The good news is he'll probably be back, if he isn't already.

I know. Imagine how I would carry on if it was someone I was REALLY close to.

Are they still doing the staredown seriously? Wow. That's amazing. I think they should come back on and post again.

Katy,

There have been many volumes written on that subject, which I interpreted (from your statement) to be....happiness.

If I misunderstood the gist of what you were saying, my apologies.

If happiness was what you were referring to.....well, that's another story entirely.

Re: My friend [censored] seems really to have departed

I wasn't talking about happiness. Sheesh, I can't believe you think I'm the kind of girl who looks to others for my happiness. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I was talking about someone who entertains and amuses us. He was funny and awesome. He made me mad. Now who will fill that void? I can't fill it myself you know. The thought of me sitting around my living room, alternately amusing myself and then pissing myself off, is preposterous.

Re: My friend [censored] seems really to have departed

I remember him talking about one drunken night when some people were partying at his place. He and some girl apparently had the mutual hots for each other, were a good few drinks in, and she was in his room sitting on his bed, trying to get his ever-fickle and wandering attention. A couple sentences he wrote probably without thinking or caring about them seemed to me a hilarious summation of the guy and his crazy attitude. "She's sitting on my bed and I'm making her laugh. Now she's petting my dog, and it's making me mad!"

I told him those would be great lines in a song I would buy immediately and play over and over again. (I hear it as sung by Fred Schneider of The B-52's.) The guy could be very entertaining. Whether he was as gifted as Katy says, I don't know, but when he would go off on a tear, I always wanted to know, So what happened next? Even if the answer made me want to strangle him.

Jeremy is [censored] unique no doubt. He is tormented.
It's my belief that he is either in a sanitarium....

Sorry if I over-edited. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I see alot of similarities akin to the great Syd Barrett?

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!

Yeah I remember that. I don't think he cared for that girl too much. He had his standards.

Well to clarify, I meant "gifted" as a writer and entertainer. For sure. He was naturally gifted as a writer. His economy of words combined with his masterful description and pathos is, well, what ever writer hopes for isn't it? Like you said, he made us wonder what happened next. How many people can do that? It came so easily to him. Not sure if he was "gifted" in the other areas of his life. You'll have to ask the other girls [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Aw [censored]. Now I'm depressed again. Actually, I think he's gone off to write a great book. He'll be the next Vonnegut or Christopher Lamb or something. And I am envious.

God, this is all you are going to tell us?! Some details would be nice sir. Throw me a bone.

I'm now going to go back and review everything I wrote about him to see if I should go into hiding.

Ok good point. I went back and changed the word [censored] to [censored] to soften it up a little. Hope that does the trick.

he posted, in essence, the email he sent in oot.

more importantly, where are these underwear photos you reference? the lounge needs to see for themselves. all comments will be tasteful.

Re: My friend [censored] seems really to have departed

I can hear it now. The laughter and snorting from the other women would be deafening. It would drown out the "ooohs" and "ahhs" of the men. So thanks but I think I'll keep my huge stash of flirty underwear pics private. I'm a little self-conscious and besides, I do have dignity you know. I'm a dignified individual.

(Email me.)

I lived under the censored rein and made it this far, i'm feeling honored.

Re: My friend [censored] seems really to have departed

Don't feel too honored. You didn't get any underwear pics, did you? That's the dividing line.

I'm assuming you even knew you could ask for them.
