yes. hes also up like 300 in the 60 hands ive played. tagfish raises UTG to 3 with AJo, he makes it 17 (lol), tagfish shoves and loses to AK.

are all you guys canadian, because i haven't played with you alot i don't think. i do have very good table selection, but it's probably the time zones. i never play past 7.30 ET or so.

my screen name is stefanh58, and i've been playing 100NL and have just moved up last week to 200NL.

ooh, just found infazwetrust. 17/14/2.6 over 650 hands. he is caning me from the looks of it. he has won $10 off me, i haveonly won $8.5 on him. no notes

i usually am playing a load of germans and russians and dutch players.

there are alot of decent players on party IMO, the nitty tags 3bet me an awful lot

I'm PropositionMike, and I have a tilting problem...

Not sure what set me off but I played terrible the last couple of days, kept pulling the plug after a horrible spew or two, then going back a few hours later and repeating the process. I always have a few spews in me, but usually I win pots inbetween. Dropped about 9 buyins over the last two days...

Today is a golf day.

A few of you guys give me trouble, but I'm not good with the names. I'll have a think and look up some of the better regs in my database later on.

Off the top of my head, Babyainzi plays well against me.

JCoolTrane is an obnoxious table coach unqualified to give anyone advice.

I have felt like I have been playing really badly (weak-tight, I have Fgators like W$WSF% and winrate) the last few days. Any thoughts?

I have also found rebuyboy to be one of the best players.

Montagnais is probably the best 70VPIP player I've ever seen. I think I'm down against him over 600ish hands.

Yeah...I'm disappointed that his name was posted...

Albeit I mentioned his style in the other Party Regs Thread in SSNL, several of us didn't mention his name...but then his name was outed......
Fish shouldn't be outed ..... or in his case winning Maniacs....

This is why the Regs threads are not encouraged because there are too many people that lurk...and now everyone is going to join the hunt for this guy....Also discussing how to play against him is bad form...

I suggest that his name be deleted from this thread...

Oh btw who do you think are good at 1/2

The following players seems to annoy me the most

KrucheVseh
Tokenblak
Loeppenthin
sidis____

Might not necessary be the biggest winners but definatly annoying (I wont discuss what makes them annoying since I think it's bad form just that they are difficult to play against)

There are also a number of 18-16/14-12/4-3 players that probably makes good money from fish but are relativly easier to play against.

[/ QUOTE ]

I try to avoid them for 100NL as the rake is just too high. I would generally only play them if I couldn't find any decent normal tables or there was a really big fish on one of them. At 200NL I'd generally head towards normal tables first but wouldn't be as worried. 400NL+ it wouldn't affect my table selection much at all.

Yes I also think KrucheVseh is annoying to play against, very aggressive. A lot the Russian players seem to be like that. sidis___ plays vey tight. I've played more than 1000 hands with him but only have one note on him, so obviously we haven't tangled much.

I think i've 3 bet you very light on occasions solely based on your screen name. Other than that i can't really remember much!

There's a couple of players i'd like opinions on, but i'll have to wait to get home before i can find their names. I'm not sure if its since i've started table selecting or what, but i feel there's a bunch of good regulars at party 200NL, but very very few great ones(naturally).

Also, do people feel there's a huge gap between 200 and 400? I just can't seem to win at 2/4 in the 3 shots of taken.

there is a huge difference in the standard style of play between the two, and there are definitely less fish and bad reg's at 2/4, but the games are still very very beatable if you can adjust your strategy accordingly and use a bit of game selection.

What??? HE PWNS ALL OF US

I seriously think he is not a fish. I started winning against him (got an ok-ish read on his bet-sizes and started calling some of his huge bets reallllly light), and now he doesn't pay me off at all anymore / leaves my tables. I think he has developed a style that just destroys unobservent regs. He can definitely read boards well, and constantly puts you to tough decisions.

FoldEqu1ty 08-15-2007 07:21 AM

Seriously, playing versus your average 50/10 station will be way more profitable than playing versus Montagnais, with a fraction of the variance.

What?!

I saw him at the 200s today, moved down from 400s Im guessing and he seems like the easiest opp ever. He is soooooo nitty, just stay out of his way if he raises post flop

[/ QUOTE ]

This is not the most accurate articulation of his play. He plays super nitty preflop but his postflop play is just weird. Sometimes he'll check call the flop oop then check it down with middle set. Othertimes he will check raise the flop and shove the turn with 10 high.

His raises are almsot always nuts or air, its seems he is incapable of value/thin value betting postflop. Apart from 3bb bets on the river.

Only commenting on Pavel cause his sn is sooooooooo well known
