I promise I will be back next year and my game will be better than ever. Hopefully I can get a stake and play in that game again. I will wear a costume or anything else to get an edge on him this time. He'll be crying for Townsend to take over when I am done with him.

I had about 10k after the tourney win and about 5k in the bank. My bank lets me overdraft up to $100. Cardrunners is on my CC.

OP You just won 7k so actually you only lose 9k. 1 thing I want to know is how you learn your game from CR and you want to comeback and beat them. How often can a student beat they master???? Whatever they teach you, you can use it to beat someone else but not them. Remember they show you the style to win but they never show you the style to beat their own game.
You know you are OK player good enough to win small game. stick with it you'll bounce back. Learn your lesson and move on. In card game you'll never TRUST anyone.

And just like these CR bitches, he was all friendly and stuff. You think I'm gonna sit at the table if I know there's a WSOP BRACELET WINNER sitting there? What a joke. I got lucky and won a few thousand, but still, that was pretty much BS. BRACELET WINNERS should have to reveal themselves and not just sit there waiting for amateur players to sit down.

shootmeplease, since nobody seems to be giving you any common sense advice, here it is:

I highly doubt anyone on cardrunners advocates putting your whole bankroll on the line at one table unless you don't care if you lose it.

Furthermore, the nature of poker is that, away from the table everyone is friends; at the table, nobody softplays. You can't expect them to go easy on you. If you think they should go easy on you, then you are in the wrong game. Play for a lot less money.

Also, don't drink and gamble together if you can't afford to lose what you are gambling with.
