don't worry, my coaching is still excellent. ask any of my students. after all, where do you think the 30k came from? i still know how to get money in good, which is all my students need. i just dont know how to make it come out good, anymore.

The fact you think this is the fault of running bad and not bad play or tilt is pretty funny.

[/ QUOTE ]

Haha, yeah, lol, no WAY this could be true, no WAY could TWP be losing cause he's running bad...lol, so funny.

TWP, although you've given better advice lately, most of your stuff isn't too good. I think your play is marginal, and leans towards a very high variance over monkey aggro preflop that will result in high blood pressure and swingy sessions.

Last time you claimed you posted better than you played, so are you asserting now that it's the opposite?

I analyze hands after the fact better than I play them in the heat of battle. Sometimes I make posts, though, just to start discussion and not as a true reflection of my all-things-considered analysis.

Re: Quite possibly quitting poker forever

1. only like 3 of those are bad beats
2. if you move back to 10/20 its only 15 buyins to recover!
3. dont bluff people who know teh aejones theorem, especially at 3/6 where almost everyone knows it apparently.
4. that graph you drew is actually pretty cool - can you make it your avatar to avoid confusion with HEK?

like, i don't know [censored] about [censored] when it comes to poker, but... cue EC10's post about Stars MSNL being "2+2 infested 5-betting contests"

also cue "none of you can beat post-legislation games because you weren't all that good in the first place" posts

Re: Quite possibly quitting poker forever

TWP sorry to see your running so bad. Few hands here that seem marginal. I was in your shoes about two months ago, and I felt like the poker gods turned against me. When you take a ton of bad beats, its easy to start playing bad. From a few sessions I have played with you, and watched others w/ you at table it was pretty clear you had some leaks in your game. (Not to say I dont obv., everyone does except DerekJC)

Re: Quite possibly quitting poker forever

Fold the AT hand on the river.
Fold the TT hand on the flop or turn.
Fold the KK hand on the flop.

The KK hand is ugly as [censored]. Reasoning felting KK there by saying "he shouldn't call with ATo preflop" is just stupid.

i feel like uve made a bunch of posts where u consider quitting, but u've never actually done it.

i dunno, pretty standard stuff (in the hands u posted at least). i woulda played some of them differently...that's not to say that i'd play them better...just differently.

i feel like u gotta ask urself "WTF do i beat" and "WTF will call me that i beat if i bet this" fer a couple of em.
