Any micro limit regulars at FTP, I used to play 100NL and 50NL a long time ago but I withdrew after all the legislation and I am no grinding it at 10NL so if anyone wants to discuss some hands and stuff or share info on players let me know

Have you seen how bad the rake is at the NL10 level there???

I am going to analyze the stats I have from the 30K hands there where I was ai and ahead later this week (about 250 of them). I'm curious if it just seems like they suck out more.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't waste your time, as your sample is WAY too small. I would be astonished if something fishy was going on, but only an analysis of hundreds of thousands of hands will allow you to 'confirm' anything.

As I say, I don't believe it, but even a sceptic like me has to admit that there do seem to be more suckouts at FT.

I agree, but it's all I have in the 30K hands I've played. It's more a curiosity for me anyway, I'll probably find I won my fair share. But I think what has happened to me over the past 20K hands is that the suckouts have come mostly from the big stacks while my hands have held up against the short stacks

Ok sorry to keep sounding like an azz, but seriously stop being such damn noobs. Full Tilt isn't rigged, you don't get more bad beats there than other sites. And also, 30k hands is a [censored] joke and not worth 'analzying to see how you fare all in ahead'. You should focus on improving and putting in more volume, instead of thinking about rigged sites and how bad you're running.

Did you even read what I said or were you too busy trying to make yourself feel good by calling people noobs? Here let me make it clearer for you:

I agree, but it's all I have in the 30K hands I've played. Again, I know it is a small sample size but that does not mean it is insignificant. The real question is just how significant is it? This actually depends on the results.

It's more a curiosity for me anyway, I'll probably find I won my fair share. I think this is the part you didn't read. Go back and read it again, does that sound like a "OMG It's rigged" statement? No, I like numbers, I'm going to analyze the data. How does that imply I don't also look for ways to improve my game?

But I think what has happened to me over the past 20K hands is that the suckouts have come mostly from the big stacks while my hands have held up against the short stacks Just variance really, [censored] happens.

Was there something meaningful you wanted to add to this discussion or did you just want to call people n00bs?

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100

My bad raistlin I just saw these two quotes -

I can't say it is rigged of course with any certainly, but some rather improbable events
occur a little too often for my taste. Others have said the same thing.

It is no joke about how often a 2-5 outer pulls ahead when you get all in before the river there.
I am going to analyze the stats I have from the 30K hands there where I was ai and ahead later this week.

I have seen a few others lately complaining about small sample sizes, 'rigged', etc and also 'sharing reads' on regulars that are based off tiny samples, so guess I am a bit touchy.

No worries. As I said, I'm not in anyway stating the site is rigged, I have no idea. All I am saying is like others it has seemed in the 36K hands I have played (the 30K refers only to one level) there have been a lot of suckouts, not just with me but with others at the tables I have been at as well. I just haven't seen that at other sites. Or at least it seems that way.

However there can be many reasons for this and in fact it could be my mind playing tricks on me. That is the main reason I want to look at the math.

To be honest, I actually like the site more than the others and I'm hoping by looking at the numbers I can feel easier about some of the things I have seen. But I have to say, I've seen a couple of different things that have a probability of happening very rarely. One there was a 1.5% chance and the other was very small, around 0.1% of the time. But that is still not saying it is rigged. Just that I have been unlucky.

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100

It would be insane to rig the site to make more money, and in the process risk thier business, when they are already making plenty of cash. The suck outs are just a function of the number of bad donks. That makes FTP sounds like a great proposition to me. See you there.

You have been warned.

And I know its just variance... and yet, when the cards flip over (and the great thing about FTP is when people are all in on cash tables the cards are flipped)... the LESS outs my opponent has the more nervous I get.

I believe I posted this hand in a bitch session thread-

short vers- donk minraises in mp. Another donk calls. I call with 33 on the button (this is $50 PL table). I have them both covered.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3x 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check, donk 1 bets $4. donk 2 calls. I potraise, donk1 pushes, donk 2 smoothcalls.... I call.

Cards flip-
donk 1 has AQ. Donk 2 has 44.

Surprisingly one of them does NOT have the flush draw. 6 outs? I know I'm toast.

turn brings a 2... river does not pair board. pot ships to donk 2.

Standard.

Not sure about this one... last night he was min raising at 100nl all over the place (opening for 2$ in ep etc), and also was hanging around with short stacks (60-70$) without topping off. He seemed to be 12 tabling, its amazing he can 12 table with a 25 vpip, or maybe he's in over his head and that is why he has dropped from 200nl to 100nl, to not capping off at 100nl.

mariojr I have as a huge winner, although he has seemed kind of 'dormant' most of the times I've played him. It just seems like people pay his monsters off constantly. I generally try to avoid him though.

1forthethumb I have as a pretty strong winner.

full_tilting gives me problems sometimes, because he seems willing to gamble it up in pissing matches against other regulars. I still think he has a lot of leaks, though.

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100

jenson, if you noticed the cold call on the turn after the flop bet, it wasnt becuase I was trapping with my hand, I was pretty sure I wasn't ahead or ide let you bluff the river if you were bluffing, I wouldnt raise you on the river without hitting the J, so I dont know if I got unlucky, also I will raise early and middle position limpers a lot unless they are regulars with a wide range for various reasons.

Theo, I have noticed that giveusakiss has been acting weird also, he used to be solid and someone I would avoid confrontation with but since early this past week hes been doing a lot of weird plays, Ive also seen him limp in early postion with a big pair which he never used to do. As for fulltilting I agree with pissing contests with regulars, he likes to do it with me a lot other then that hes plays most of hands pretty face up.

These two posts are a good example of variance and how long it takes to determine a player's true winrate.

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100

Theo, thats actualy a very good river blocking bet pretty much exactly what ide do on the river if i had stayed in the hand. However, the flop and turn play is a bit pecular but i think it depends on the heroes image, before you can flame him, maybe the hero was a contiaution bettor or a bluffer in general. If thats the case his flop and turn calls are fine with the river lead out blocking bet being a really good play because instead of check calling a bet that will obviously be bigger hes minimzing the bet as much as he can on the river and if the guy shoves hes obviously beat (atleast at the 1/2 level he is). so i like the river bet a lot.

Yep. That's the main reason I posted those #s. I mean, everytime a 5% PFRer re-raises preflop when I have KK, I immediately think, here we go... Then I look to see total number of hands he has. I've had guys with numbers like that who not only re-raised me, but called pushes with stuff like AQ, TT, etc. Gotta be careful with stats like that or you are just costing yourself money.

Billz - I just don't see how u play it so uber passive the whole way, why no 3bet of button raise? Why no raise on flop, or turn? Seemed rather strange to me. Not saying he's a donk but this hand seemed rather curious.

Okay. I admit, FTP is driving me crazy... CRAAAZY.. did you have a spare metal hat please... I am break even so far, pulling my hair out and wondering if its the cards or bad play.

I have set.. they fold, they have set, i have two pair and they were short stacked so it all goes in.. or a FD that gets 3.5 price on each street but does not make it.. but turn TP on river so calls.

I have made flush they have set an fill up on river..

Could any regulars PM with you screen name and I'll do my best to avoid you,, not out of sympathy but survival

I know regulars at 100 and 200 have been mentioned, but what about 400? I'm thinking of moving up soon, and wondering if there's a big difference in the games and who to avoid/seek out.
