PS - www.giftcards.com works AP - www.giftcards.com works FT - www.giftcards.com works UB - not sure Now, I'm interested in if there are any other VIRTUAL (no waiting for a physical card to arrive) cards that work at these or other sites. Anyone? [/ QUOTE ] But giftcards.com currently says this [ QUOTE ] 23. Can the gift card be used for online gambling? No, The VirtualGift and the Standard Gift Card cannot be used for online gambling, the transaction will be declined. [/ QUOTE ] |
Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa
What is the latest update on how to deposit on Pokerstars?
Should I use the GreenDota Visa/Mastercard from Walgreens? hefty $10 charge to get it at first, and $5 reloads.. but i'm ok with that. When you withdraw, does it goto the card? |
Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa
I just wanted to let everyone here know that WWW-Card is really easy and works on Pokerstars (Haven't tried any other sites). You pay via a debit/credit card, and you have your virtual card # instantly, and it tells you that you can use it in 10 minutes. If you try to use it before 10 minutes on Stars, you get denied, but if you wait 10 mins, its approved.
The max you can load is like 200-300. You can do more than one. I think its like 2 every 24 hours or something. There is a fixed fee of $2.75 each. They also accept giftcards.com prepaid visas (for those of you who bought them but then got screwed because they no longer allow gambling transactions.) I've used them ~4 times, very fast and easy: https://www.www-card.com/ http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/2903/wwwcardej3.png (No, this isn't spam, and no, I do not work for them, nor am I an affiliate, just helping everyone out here). |

Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa
what about the 3% fee for gaming sites.
"Gaming sites - 3% of the transaction amount." so say you load the card with $100 then you pay a $2.75 fee to do it, and how does the 3% fee get cahrged ? |

[/ QUOTE ] You have to subtract the 2.75 from what you're loading. To load $100 I paid $97. I never had to pay the 3% fee at Stars. The full $97 was deposited. |
Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa

Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa
if u use a prepaid visa, can u make the money go back into your card or do u have to cash out by check???
|
Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa
The way I see it, none of these are worth the trouble or fees anymore. I had two perfectly fine experiences w/ giftcards.com when they allowed a $500 virtual card for a flat $2 processing fee, and later a physical card loaded w/ $500 for a $6.95 shipping/handling fee. Later, I tried simon.com for $300 + $2 fee and that was a disaster. Ultimately got the order canceled so no harm done, but was still frustrating. Now, it's all this "what works and what doesn't?", and the most reliable cards are what, the Walgreen's ones that have a $4.95 fee for only $100? Not worth my time.
I haven't been comfortable having more than $1.5k in any poker account since all the NETeller crap went down, so whenever I reached $1.5k+, I'd cash out $1k+ and have only $500 left (back in the Stars courier days for checks >$1k). Variance was going to bust me w/ the limits I played, but I knew that going in and was willing to do it over and over again w/ the minimal fees (wound up only being two rounds). Now it's just ridiculous and I'll resort to paying a friend some vig + cash/check in return for a p2p transfer. Call the way I handled it whatever you want, but after going back to B&M my last 3 sessions, I realize just how easy those games can be in comparison. |
Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa
