I actually think the neutrals have the greatest chance to win this game. It will be hard for either side to win without their help.

wow, you're really going out on a limb there aren't ya

I dont think it was obvious. A 2 person team has never been considered the favorite before.

ASSERTION #1:

bluffblank is bad

lawl.

[/ QUOTE ]

I always seem to come off as bad in these long games. Especially early. Now is the part where I get defensive, and make more ridiculous posts that just make me look more evil. I've resolved to not do that this game, as it only ends up confusing us.

Also, I'm pretty sure I've voted for the new guy at the beginning of every long game I've played

That is what I meant. Think about it. With this many players and 1 seer. Say the village gets ahead. There will be 9-10 players anti village. We need to run very hot.

I did think about it

"Running very hot" is the only thing we can go for in the first half of the game.. fortunately, that's what people try to do every game anyway. In the second half, there will be more room to get creative.

Beldin's power may turn out to be key.

Re: The Malloreon: GAME THREAD and FINAL ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Ok, my joke vote is out. After trying out games without reading the rules, I read the rules of this one. The levelling influence of Cyradis is an interesting twist. I suspect that by day four or so, most of us will know who Cyradis is.

I think there will be some tricky situations where Cyradis will be offering information that may or may not be correct depending on the current game balance. There is another, not so good for the good side, strategy that I will not mention, but I would follow if I was Cyradis.

My first actual vote goes to Bobo until we get a good post from him.

Re: The Malloreon: GAME THREAD and FINAL ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Anyone want to talk rules/strategy for us good guys?

I still think it is going to be very hard to win without luckboxing the coin flip.

Perhaps we wait for some tokyo/bobo/shortline FPS?

Re: The Malloreon: GAME THREAD and FINAL ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

For now I don't think there is any complex strategies yet. Like Belgeraid, the complexity will take place in a few days when more info is known. For now it is all about voting who is the most wolfiest. Florida fans are all evil in my book .

Good morning everyone!

It's also a perfect day to ask Shorty why his vote is on me. This is a first for him. Voting OH is silly. He's a supergood power role. Booya!

This is stupid.

If you don't think Cyradis has considered every strategy, then you're assuming our opponent is dumb. That's a bad assumption.

Bringing up possible strategies & discussing them in thread is the only way for the village to work to prevent them from having a negative affect.

If I think of a way to counteract it with any degree of success, then I'd be happy to discuss it. You're welcome to talk about it if you want, but I'd like a better than 50-50 shot at winning, and I'd rather not do anything to convince Cyradis that an option she may have considered and discarded is a good idea.

Um no. It had to do with how his speach was presented. I've been sniffing out Books as a wolf ever since I joined POG. If you haven't noticed that you aren't paying attention

Plus, Yes WBooks does generally try to kill me early when he's evil because he knows I'll eventually find out he's evil.
