Not a problem since he identified which pick goes with which amount, but could lead to trouble if he doesn't include amounts in the future. :P

To address this, for now it is fine to bet twice on the same game. I have gotten a couple PM's about that. If the majority wants to, we can disallow this starting Week 2.

You've always been allowed to pick both the spread and the over/under from the same game. They're two different bets.

Right, I know they're two different bets. But some people feel as if that isn't fair (I don't agree personally, as it's not the same as doing a correlated parlay). Just saying that if the majority want to change that rule, I'm fine with it.

Think the Chiefs could be a case of a team the line hasn't "caught up with" yet in terms of the changes they have undergone. Loss of Willie Roaf makes a difference, and they lost another starting lineman to retirement as well. Two other O-line starters have missed time in preseason with injuries. Throw in the coaching changes and clearly there is the potential for K.C. to "take a step back" as it were. Cincinnati on the other hand appears to be loaded up to stay a contender, so long as Carson Palmer is ok. K.C. has always been incredibly tough as a home underdog against non-division opponents, but they're favored here, and I don't think they should be. Psychological edge - Cincy.

Ravens lost all 8 on the road last year. Tampa giving 3 at home just seems like good value, regardless of Steve McNair.

Chargers have owned the Raiders in recent years, only thing to really fear is Rivers' inexperience. Given his talent and the fact that he's had a full two years (right?) to assimilate, I like his chances with the team he has around him, and like giving the 3 pts.

Redskins looked like complete garbage in preseason, with the starters' pass protection looking bad in particular, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for this game. Gibbs is notorious for vanilla preseasons, and it was commonly reported that the Skins were withholding motion from their plays along with most of their playbook in the first place. I think this makes the Skins hungry and gives them a psychological edge in this game, at home against a team they're supposed to beat (even without Portis). Kenny Wright starting for Shawn Springs is worrisome, except for the fact that the Vikings have one of the least intimidating receiving corps in the NFL. Rookie head coach for the Vikings - I'll go ahead and give the points at home.
