This is a good point which comes up a lot in these complicated games with vote switching; the bad guys, since they can't communicate during the day and are not always on at the end of the day, will often not be able to execute precisely enough to take full advantage of their powers.

It wasn't a strategy failure - Jonsan was busy, and didn't get back to the thread in time to suicide bomb a player that would lock up the win. Then, Elevens (a baddie) switched his vote at the last minute to the seer, not realizing that the strategy of us lynching the seer could only happen if our suicide killer arrived. No strategy errors - execution errors, which is exactly what I was talking about.

Had the village discussed this possible strategy (they did not, we cooked it up after two of us were seer-outted), they may have been able to counteract it.

Ok fair enough, I am still surprised that you of all people reacted the way you did to my post this morning but whatever. Whether you believe me or not I had the idea for that post well before I got my role and was going to post it regardless of role just because it annoys me when people post things in thread that can't possibly help the village but can only help the bad guys. Since I am just a vanilager not a village power role it would not be that bad for village if you lynched me today - I'm just glad I didn't draw seer because I would have posted the same thing

I loved these books when I was in high school.

I tried to re-read when Belgariad started... I hate his writing now. It's practically unreadable to me. The plot's pretty good, though.
