Just say "thank you Mr. President" and smile.... And before replying, remember the Homeland Police are monitoring this and you have to cross the border to get home.

Some info for y'all: There are 3 day 1s, 26th-28th. They're expecting around 200 a day so they added the 3rd day one so they wouldn't have to cap it at 600. I'd guess 550ish is more realistic but what do I know. However they will qualify 250-300 players from their own live satellites. That means juicy field again just like last year. They removed the 25/25 level from last year and added 100/200 no ante which makes sense.

R we allowed to pick our day 1 or is it random? I'm trying to figure out what dates to book this (fewest days possible obv).

How many starting chips?

Also, are there any side events after the main event begins?

TheNewf 10-11-2007 07:31 PM

Re: * * * Official WPT Niagara Thread * * *

20K starting chips 90 min levels. Not sure about starting day I'll see if I can find out. There aren't any side events, and the cash games will likely have pretty big lines. However there is no shortage of bars and stripclubs, or degenerate poker players.

Guys, does anyone know if you can choose which day you start?

This would be crucial for me because leaving the 25th is really sketchy w/ school.

Hi Adam,

Thank you for your interest in Poker at Fallsview. Direct buy in for
the Main Event is $10,000 + $300 (Canadian dollars only) and can be
purchased at any point between now and the start of the tournament,
there is no maximum number of entrants. The exchange rate here today is
100USD=96CDN, there is a four percent differential to exchange back
(even par). I'm not sure what your Debit MasterCard is like, but you
can buy in with a MasterCard credit card. There is a 2% surcharge on
all credit card purchases for the WPT, so the amount would actually be
$10,506 CDN. Age of entry is nineteen, and all winnings are tax-free in
Canada. Feel free to contact me anytime. We look forward to having you
here, have a safe trip.

Re: * * * Official WPT Niagara Thread * * *

Response i got on another forum:

Players do have the choice of starting day, but it is limited to an extent. I do need to have Day 1A heavier populated than the other two starting days because that day determines what level we play down to for subsequent days. I need to be under 300 (preferably under 270) for the start of Day 2, therefore I need to get to under 100 on each day one. If anyone needs to play on a certain day, email me and I am taking names, but I will keep it balanced. Seating is randomized for each day, and subesquent days.

Lee,

I said I'd buy a piece on AIM and I'm still interested. Try and save me a piece, brothaman. I'll holler on AIM.

Also, will the casino take $US cash or what? Can I exchange the cash for CAN at the cage?
