Has anyone used a USB-ethernet wire connection? I'm going to get my Wii online, and this seems like a much better option.

OK, I added PokerFox, RDH, and iSTRONG last night while I was making some miis, including the Jesus. He didn't come out as great as I had hoped because there didn't seem to be many good options for hairstyles with a ponytail.

hmk,

I thought the USB-ethernet adapter wasn't due out for a bit. If you can get it, go for it if you don't have wireless. Don't do it just for bandwidth's sake if you do have wireless, though. Other than a decently long update the first time you get online, there isn't much reason to worry about your connection speed. Most downloading is done when the wii is "off," unless you're using the browser extensively.

It's taken me since Nov 19 to finally get around to doing this but I finally added all of you today. Can't wait to see the Mii's. My only cool one is I made a very bad gollum.

i downloaded the wii ware internet browser, i have a mii created, but i dont know what to do next to get my mii number. also, when i try to add a mii friend it says i need to have something registered on the wii boards? is that the nintendo forum or the ign forum? can somebody make a faq or a walkthrough and get it stickied for us wii newbs?

If The Sims uses the Mii facial features on a Sim body then I can live with my wife and have Alba and Reon as 'friendly' neighbors in a video game.

So people have to add my number before I can start seeing Miis come around? I'm just wondering because I've added everyone on the list up to DukeSucks and I don't see any new Miis coming around.

Is there anything else I have to do on my end?

Make sure your Mii parade is set to "Travel". Also it seems to take at least a day for friends to show up on you list even if they added you before you added them (a black name in the address book means they've added you and your systems can talk to each other).
