Re: SSNL - December Goals ?
Had intended to learn HU in Nov, but that went kind of [censored] so I didn't feel motivated enough to continue. Ran like jesus when I deposited some $ on stars to get goldstar (need to use my FPPs for something ).
December goals are kinda undecided. Maybe go for supernova (43k fpps, would need to play like 100k++ hands or something like that) if I'm feeling crazy (I haven't had a 100k month in forever, but the stars software makes playing soooo fun). It depends a lot on how 1/2 on stars feels (I've only played 1/2 at prima) and when I manage to get the bulk of my roll over. If this falls through, try to get enough (I don't really want to take a shot with 20~ buyins, would much prefer 25 or 30) for a shot at 2/5 @ crypto. |

So, goals: 1.ditto with the not being lazy/sleep thing 2.40k hands 3.not wait til the last minute to buy christmas presents Ugh, everything is pretty reliant on #1. Re: SSNL - December Goals ?
Play more than 16K hands.
Do better than 2.55 ptbb/100 Learn how to open up my game a little more, i'm at 16/13.5/5, my AF is where I want it to be, but my vpip and pfr are way too tight, it just seems like all of the tables that have bad players to my right also have bad loose players to my left, so playing with a 20+vpip is unprofitable. So I guess i'll just change that goal to continue to adapt and play an optimal style no matter what the table conditions, but look harder for games with tighter players to my left. |
Re: SSNL - December Goals ?
- go to uni
- learn for uni - 20k+ hands at NL100 and quit doing those "I know you got it but I cant fold to a 50BB bet getting 3-to-1" river calls - do some sports at least once a weak well ... to get the uni stuff done I need to use at least 50% of my free time. But I hate learning while I could make moneys -.- I have to fix this. |

quit doing those "I know you got it but I cant fold to a 50BB bet getting 3-to-1" river calls [/ QUOTE ] Crying calls on the River are a big leak for me, whether it's the 1/2 pot bet when I'm only good 1/8 times or the giant "It's a monster or nothing" bets where I just can't lay down a medium strength hand. Re: SSNL - December Goals ?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Try playing some 2/4. You might find that in adjusting to a tougher game, you plug up some leaks in the smaller game without realizing it. I think you have to play above your comfort zone every now and again. How else does your comfort zone get any bigger? Challenge yourself! [/ QUOTE ] I know I know!!! but adjusting to 200nl was a [censored] nightmare until I started table selecting. I would just get into ridiculous spots 3betting aggro regs and was constantly getting outplayed. its like I finally feel comfortable now, so why not grind it out for a while and bank some easy money? I feel almost like I deserve a break after the 2-3 week adjusting period to 200nl that really stressed me out. maybe I'll throw 1 table of 400nl into the mix, just for you nath. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I don't mean to pressure you into something you're not ready for or anything. You should feel steady about your play at 200 before moving up. But you have to be careful not to become too comfortable, because then you start bringing your B game and you stop improving. |

Re: SSNL - December Goals ?
Guess I would like to sometime get some coaching. I am doing extremely well, but feel that there is even more money to be made out there and I think the 1k tables are very much in sight with some coaching session from someone good.
I feel a guilty cuz I have time, but just haven't made the decision to get coaching to conquer 400nl even more than I am now, and get to the 1k tables. Feel like such a knob not doing it. |

Re: SSNL - December Goals ?
1. try to play my usual 60K or so hands, except this time play them at 400nl
2. Try to make good decisions every time i play 3. try to post responses to questions 4. move to thailand on the 29th Sub note. I finished a decent 4 PTbb/100 over my 52k hands at 200nl last month so played 2-4 again towards the end of last month, felt i played ok over 9k hands but had two crap sessions cooler wise. oh and i ran quite Hot today +2.5K over 2378 hands, i'd really like to do that for the rest of the month please. Re: SSNL - December Goals ?
20k hands of 100nl, and 2k monies. play half of my hands on full tilt so i can get ~200 in rakeback. (i hate full tilt so its hard for me to play there)
