Call down. Theres more than enough posibility that he doesn't put you on a six and got spazzy with something else. Or that you will chop. Or that you hit your outs...blah blah blah.

I'm not 4betting the turn, if that's what you mean. I'll be having an internal debate as to whether or not to raise the river, but probably end up just calling. I certainly think I'm still ahead right now. I'm cautious about 4betting because he may have nothing at all, and then he may have me beat. I still expect to win this pot, but I don't think raising does anything good for me.

Re: 20/40 Settle a Debate

i had a similar hand like this at a live 15/30 game at artichoke joes;

6s7s in early cutoff, raise against a bored table, call from SB.
flop is 662, no flush. i bet, SB calls.
turn is a Q. i bet, SB RR, i RR, SB calls.
river 4, i bet, SB calls, shows AQo.
i show, and he immediately starts muttering about me raising with trash etc etc.

the reason i mention this hand (yes i know its not exactly the same situation as yours), is that villain will overplay his top pair or try to get cute with Ax *often enough* to warrant a 4bet.

so i think if you bet/call a brick river, you will see an overpair often enough to justify the extra bets/risk.

swope: you have position screwed up.

Jeffage: I have you owned, but remember what I said.

One more vote for call down without good read.
Raise 6 or 7 on river Obv.

fwiw I am considering folding the river ui, but probably stick in a crying call hoping for a chop if another big card comes. Not sure why there is a debate about the turn unless its whether you should raise at all. Lps are unlikely to cr the flop with anything other than a 6. I would really want to pound the flop. If he has a pair he will freeze up if paint comes and we dont have to lose 3bbs when he has us crushed. I have found that the best place to extract value from LPs is on the sb streets when they are less scared.

most like likely has a six as well and you are going to lose. That situation is not clealy defined until the turn, looks like you were trying to slowplay flop and the guy wokeup with a hand,oh well call the river and get ready to muck

In theory, but in practice I would call. What do we beat that a loose passive 3bets on the turn? He always has at least a 6. I would stick in the call hoping he had 56 or 46s or something stupid, but he always has a 6 here and we have no kicker.
