Re: A typical good LAG\'s preflop range?

A good LAG plays position and situations more than cards. To get stats like 40/35, you raise in position vs any limper with any 2 cards. This isolates LAG against a weak player (strong players don't limp), gives you position, and initiave on the flop if they don't fold pf. LAGs play tight from UTG and HJ, and then open with huge range in CO or OTB, 3bet lots from blinds, and raise limpers with a huge range.

Recent CTS video, he raises 32s from CO, gets 3bet by button, and he 4-bets. No hand chart will advise 4-betting 32s OOP. In that situation, he felt button's range was polarized enough that he would almost always fold to 4-bet.
