I don't like the pf call with your stack here. As played, not sure what flop you're looking for bc this is the one. Easy shove.

snap call/shove, but this is a fold preflop

agreed,

i dont think u got the implied odds here cause your so shallow.

call/folding to a preflop raise and the vast majority of flops for 4% of your stack is a leak.

if hes on the button tho is this still a fold?

It was a prefold limp, not a raise, and since he's seen the table react to limps passively its a nobrainer call. Easy flop shove also.

ok thanks for advice guys. I still think the limp is fine since the table had played passively and I thought there was a decent chance UTG had a big hand. I'm also still not sure if I like the gamble here seeing as it's a pretty weak field and we have nothing invested and a decent stack, maybe I can find a better spot than a likely 50/50

I shoved villain had 95o and it held

I think pf is fine. Great flop- get em in there! take ur licks if you have to but you found a terrific spot to try and chip up when ur stuck in the pack it seems..

You pretty much flopped the nuts! Of course get it in.

And FYI, you were 57.4% to win the hand. So, you got your money in ahead with the worse hand (key part behind "ahead").

Here's a list of situations where you should fold if you flop an open-ended straight flush draw, using both of your cards, on the flop:

If, as here you have an OESFD plus a pair, which is a better hand, you should consider folding in the following situations:

Although I once saw a guy do it on TV, and I've never been on TV, so maybe I'm wrong.

There is extra ev in being able to say "I has a straight flush!"

Wasicka folded an OESFD against Gold 3-handed in the ME. And he would've won and almost tripled up! So clealry, du-umb
