Re: NCAA Football Week 11
[ QUOTE ]
Anybody else go back and forth thinking that the big east is a top tier conference, then that it is a "mid-major" conference from week to week? Like when South Florida was #2 in the nation, they beat Auburn in Auburn and Auburn beat Florida and I thought the Big East was the best conference in college football. Now, not so much. [/ QUOTE ] Well, if South Florida was good enough to beat Auburn on the road and they go 1-3 in Big East play, doesn't that suggest the Big East is even better? That they can beat up on a team who's that good. The only key non-conference matchup they've lost recently was UConn losing to Virginia. I think the Big East is middle-of-the road. They're not as good as the Pac-Ten or the SEC, but they're pretty equal to the Big XII and probably slightly ahead of the Big Ten. Also, if there's any conference with a BCS berth that's close to being a mid-major, it's the ACC. They don't have one team in the Top 15 by the Sagarin predictor. |
Re: NCAA Football Week 11
SEC > Pac10 >>>>>>>> Big East >> Big12 > Big10 > WNBA > ACC

Re: NCAA Football Week 11
Only a team I bet on would run a trick play to let the fullback (of all players) punt from the opponent's 40. What is the advantage from surprise-punting with your non-punter?
