I kind of like a smallish 3 bet in hand 1. I also think he'll check through a lot on the turn if we just call (assuming he's somewhat light)??

K you got the first one right, (assuming OP cannot fold ever, which isn't nec a good assumption given he opened UTG) now try the other two.

i dont think im every folding the first two to guys like this unless i get a more detailed read or something
its just a matter of how you want to get them to put the most hcips in the pot

i think the third is a pretty easy fold given the way it played out

1. is a call for sure, wouldn't plan on folding later but could depending on board/bets.

2. 3-bet mostly, i find ygw to be pretty aggressive post almost to the point of spewiness.

3. i don't mind a fold w/o a lot of history.

almost? lol

I agree with these 3 courses of action.

Re: dealing with flop raises, 3 hands

1. I like 3 betting because he i feel he checks behind turn too often if you call. Def never folding given how aggressive these games are

2. I like calling flop and reevaluating turn. Prob calling turn and river most of time unless i feel the pot size will get out of control

3. Easy fold unless significant history involved

I don't see why folding in hand 1 is so unreasonable. You are utg. The hand most folks put people on is 'AK' and there is no draw on the board.

I don't however know how FTP 5/10 plays.
