If you only need to cover expenses, just take advantage of best buy or circuit city's two week return window on camcorders. The high end digital ones they sell are good enough to make an indie movie.

Re: Tony Bigcharles: The Documentary (WITH CLIFFNOTES)

I am looking for backers who want to stake my forthcoming movie, LuckyJimm: The Musical. This is a film about a degenerate railtard who loves to try and 'spin it up' but inevitably ends up busto.

Starring Stephen Fry as LuckyJimm, the movie contains great songs such as Sitting On The Rail, You Spin Me Up (like a roulette wheel), Luck Be a £5 Hooker Tonight and other smash hits.

I just need $10m to finance this film. It would be more, but I know that Jimm will be happy to work for a $30 buy-in, and a £20 lap dance at Spearmint Rhino, so the rest will go to pay me and Stephen Fry.

Re: Tony Bigcharles: The Documentary (WITH CLIFFNOTES)

I was stunned when i saw the subject line.
In the mid to late nineties i was dealing on the President Riverboat in Davenport Iowa when i first ran into Tony "Wewaise" Big Charles. He appeared out of the blue one day and played for days at a time and then slept in a field close to the boat in the summer.
He was a panhandler at the time, i have actually seen with my own eyes, tony standing on the side of the exit ramp of the I-74 bridge with a sign that read" Need buyin for poker game".

Him panhandling for a stake became a matter of contention for some and he was jeered by a player one night.."tony, why don't you go out an get a job"
His response... "i wouldn't degrade myself by working for minimum wage, i can make 2000 in a couple days at a certain corner in Chicago".

Tony would come an go, with months between visits at times. Friends said he appeared in aurora Illinois years late, and i saw him here in Arizona at CAZ once about 3 years ago.

He looks the same but different in that picture, his hair used to be HUGE and unkempt, usually containing bits and pieces of grass and dirt from where he had slept.

Strange that he has made it on to 2p2.
