Eat at the Trailer Park (Make sure it's the original one). Drink at El Squid. Go to a few timeshare sales pitches, you will get good free drinks and food (and you cant avoid all of them anyway). Hang out at resort pools. Eat at The Office.

The Office and El Squid are both great suggestions, not familiar with the Trailer Park, but based on the others I'm sure its good.

Don't go to Cabo Wabo unless you are expecting a lame Sammy Hagar tribute bar, which is all that it is.

Agreed on Cabo Wabo, there is no reason to go there. The Trailer Park is more on the expensive side, but has fantastic seafood. And it's actually in an old trailer park. Here is me about to torture 5 pounds of lobster...

Another good restaurant is Villa Serena, but you would have to take a taxi there. It is about 15 minutes outside of town. If you go there make sure to order flaming coffee for dessert (or called something similar).
