I am not experienced, but how about checking the turn
and then shoving on the river, in an attempt to con
someone into believing you are bluffing for the pot,
especially since you are in late position.

Strange flat call with ace high flush. Results aside, bet the turn and the river. You want to get money in the pot and slow playing with only one street doesn't do it. On the turn, you will get action from an ace high flush draw. Also, straights may not automatically fold.

Yeah it was weird. He said "I thought you had the straight flush". wtf, lol. Don't know where I tipped him off on that one, or what the point of worrying about a straight flush is 25bb's deep.
