I like rightmichigan.com for local
hannity.com but thats more for the far right thoughts on the presidential race than anything else

I read economics blogs, which REALLY should be mainstream political blogs, but anyway.

I read NYTimes.com to see the academic left's view on an issue. I read ThinkProgress to read the reactionary left's view on issues. I read Megan McArdle's blog at the Atlantic for insight on libertarian takes on popular politics, and Marginal Revolution on popular political topics (like reforming health care). For the intellectual right's view on positions, I read Townhall.com, the saner columns. The reactionary right is corrupt, shrill, and in power, so I don't read them. I read the Economist's Democracy in America to wrap it all up.
