There should be a way to opt-out of the filter. Instead of blocking certain words on the poster side, it should block them on the viewer side. Then, you could go to your preferences and select "I would like to view profanity" and the naughty words would be revealed in all their profane glory.

my buddy used to have a "porn skimmer" on his site. you would give it a URL and it would rip out all available videos and images from that site's subdirectories.
