whats his total agression and showdown %, postflop I think thats the 2 most important pt numbers when deciding on if ur gonna river value bet or not. fwiw if he shoves over a value bet its a fold against a nit

Given the weak check behind on the turn, a river bet is manditory. Bet near pot to max value and as a bonus you get an easy final decision.

aggression is meaningless over 50 hands

all in is the best river bet IMO

Okay, so I bet like $25 on the river, and he c/r for $50 more (most of my stack). This is a fold like every single time, right? Regardless of the size of the sample, a nit doesn't ever do this with AQ/less, right?

Here is the thing, you obviuusly checked the turn behind for A) pot control or B)because you had nothing or a weak hand

AN observant player will realize this and could possibly cr you all in here with anything and you would fold.

To prevent this you need to bet more than an obvious weak value bet

I played it a bit differently because he was super nitty. Usually, I'd just b/f the turn.
