Why haven't you [censored] said anything in the 50 past threads where I've mentioned Broken Wings?

It's consistently put near the top/bottom of lists like this because of lyrics like "the book of love will open up and let us in". The idiots focus almost completely on lyrics.

A good number of these songs were on Rolling Stone's Best 500 Songs Ever list.

The Beatles - "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da". Ridiculous that it's on the list. One of their most fun songs.

This stuff will get debated ad nauseum, but as far as really terrible hits go, I nominate:

Eve6, "Inside Out" - horrible
Semisonic, "Closing Time" - an abomination
Third Eye Blind, "Jumper" - sucks
Daniel Powter, "Bad Day" - what the [censored] is this [censored]?
James Blunt, "Beautiful" - might as well cut his dick off
Nickelback, "Photograph" - embarrassing

Yeah. I mean, I can understand the hate for most of the songs on that list, even if I do like some of them. However, The Sound of Silence is awesome, and there's no excuse for it being there.

Is this the song in the Tuff_Fish ytmnd? I guess it sucks, but after hearing it mixed with "Sonnuvagoddamn bitch, sonuvabitch hachchchchch!" I cannot hate this song at all.

Yeah, some of these songs are good. And didn't VH1 make a list like this like five years ago and put "We Built This City" on the top? Way to need filler for this month's mag, Blender.

Tuq- the one in that list I really agree with is "Closing Time," because Semisonic's previous album was actually really good, and this was a piece of garbage whose success led them to make more pieces of garbage.
