make sure there are no bad beat whiners at this many big blinds, theres bound to be a long shot connecting in a big pot chasing implied odds and a fish may raise hell not understanding why someone called his 6bb raise prf with a sc.

My games usually have a 100BB buyin and allow anyone to buy in as much as the big stack on the table, so they get pretty deep pretty quickly after a few people bust out and rebuy.

e.g., we may have an initial $20 buyin at .10/.20, within about 2-3 hours there will be several stacks at the table with 250BB or more.

capped buyins are for girls, casinos and online poker sites only have them for rake purposes. No Limit should be just that, if there's no rake, uncap the buyins, it's so much better, allows for so much deep play.

Yeah we normally play 100BBs and then 200BBs after an hour. When it gets late and there are big stacks most people don't have a problem with buy-ins of 500bbs and more.
