If you can't exercise enough control to stay away from Party blackjack, then you must be an awful poker player.

Yes, bad poker players are. Good players don't have those leaks.

There's an option to control the "Maximum amount you can take to a game" (per game) at https://secure.partyaccount.com/cashier_summary.htm

Perhaps setting it to $0 would work?

Re: Partypoker blackjack

I agree that it's definitely a leak but it doesn't really say whether you're a good poker player or not. It's just one of those other things that make you a much worse professional gambler. Another example might be game selection. As a profession, however, you're pretty correct that it's a horrendous leak if you can't exercise self control. However all of us go on tilt some times. Probably all just semantics. Somebody can be a fantastic poker player but still go off the deep end in -EV games and someone can be a pretty mediocre player from a pure ability sense who just exercises a lot of discipline (e.g. a lot of the things that barryg recommend in ace on the river).

In the end though, disabling this stuff makes it a lot easier to exercise self control whether you need it or not.

Josem, once again you're running your mouth without having the slightest clue what you're talking about.
