The problem I have here is that you played your Jacks so weakly you have to call the turn and river.

The guy could think his 8's are good here, hell he might think A/K unimproved is good.

I may, however if I expect a check raise at some point I may check behind for pot control.

If he checks to me again on the river, I value bet, if he leads out on the river I call anything up to about 2/3 the pot.

I'd rather bet the turn than the river because he can call another bet on the turn with most draws but he's not calling anything on river with them. I'd probably bet flop, bet turn and cry/call if he c/rs.
