Does anyone raise the flop here? I mean, his bet seems like a pretty standard (habitual???) CB or a blocking bet (<50% of pot), so I'm thinking you're ahead at this point and I'd be inclined to raise on the flop.

Thoughts?

Most players wouldn't bet out on that flop with a 4; preferring instead to slow play. 54s is still a possibility though.

A set of 7s make sense. As does As7s.

(It's a lot easier to get a read when actually playing a hand- as the time taken to bet often gives a lot away.)

My guesses, in order would be:

1. Missed flush bluff, representing a 4.
2. 77
3. As7s
4. 54s

I'd have to call just to see what he had.

he has 4X, AQ or bluff here 90% of the time. I dont think u have any other choice but to call him down

I really dont like the fact that it went from a < 1/2 pot bet on the flop to an almost pot size size bet on the turn.

That's what I was thinking. 77 is a real concern. That said, I think you have to call it down.

I posed a couple questions to this a bit earlier in the thread.
