Yeah don't worry guys. My first clearance level on this was to make sure Irie was on board in an advisory role. Second was to make sure Chateau Marmont had availability. Now we just need a quorum of people to play in the tourney, and we have a party!

Oh yeah, buyins will be sent to me at a later date and the cash kept offsite. I don't think we want that much cash floating around in a known time and location, even though the Marmont is pretty damn secure. Also I think we might have GtrHtr and his license to kill for security.

You will be one of the panel of elders that we work out the MTT structure with. Irie has already suggested starting early to squeeze in a more normal timeframe. It may get a little WPT-style crapshooty at the end though, just so we can plan things out.

Obviously I'm not going to force an MTT structure that no one wants to do. I just thought it might be fun to have basically a big flippament with just a touch of skill. But normal-ish MTT is cool and probably more fun.

Current MTT proposal is extremely dubious. Way cooler would be $100+rebuys, limit of 10 rebuys, F that HORSE [censored], let's play some NLHE and make it slow enough that skill actually matters. That would be hella fun. Get on a table full of ShipItHollas and run goot.

I'd like to nominate myself for the Council of Elders to hammer out the structure. Second, anyone?

For anyone worried about the structure, don't. I will work with Suzzer to create a good structure that will allow plenty of play early. The WSOP nightly satellites lasted 8 hours with 50-100 players. We can certainly start a 30 player tournament at noon and get plenty of play in with ample time for an after-party.
