Do you think these two comments mean PA actually was +$15k on the hand, because the prop bets he won were larger than the size of the pot he lost? Or does it mean he lost $400k, but got $15k back in props, so was like -$389k?:
"The final hand of interest occurred between Patrik and Phil Ivey. The had about 400K in front of them. There was a ton of meta game involved as they had some huge side prop bets going on. I don't want to say numbers since its not really any of my business but they were gambling very big on the side."

"My favorite part of the evening occured right after the hand when Patrik looked over at Phil and said thats a triple meaning he had won 15K on the hand in props."

I think he lost about 400k and won 15k in the props

I agree it seems unlikely that the prop bets could be bigger than the pot. But at the same time, $15k probably doesn't count as a "huge" prop bet for these guys, does it?

What blinds were they playing, and how many players at the table?

There's a full account of it on Sbrugby's blog, you can't access that where you are?

lol @ that being one of the biggest cash pots in history. There have been more million dollar pots in the past than anyone can count. Doyle mentions several pots he's played in which there was over a million dollars in the pot in his 50 most memorable hands book, and that's just one player.

i believe PA had KK here, and they had a big prop bet that if one of em would show down an Ace they had to pay the other person. So pretty much only hand he was scared of here was JJ.

Read it BT's blog.

yea, how about JJ, or QQ or XX whatever the other card was... moron

Antonius had to pay an extra 15k to ivey cuz it was a "triple" he had trip Aces.

They had to pay 5k for Each Ace they showed down, thats how i understood it.
