I'm willing to go broke with QQ preflop almost every time in a sng. The number of times you are up against KK or AA will be offset by the number of times you are up against AJ, AQ, AK, or lower pairs. I've laid down QQ preflop once ever in a sng, when there was a raise, a reraise all-in, and a call in front. It turned out to be a correct lay-down, but it's pretty rare.

Everytime I've ever folded QQ I was wrong, and everytime I've ever folded KK I was right! QQ > KK
