For a winning regular I think a PF range of QQ+, maybe AK is good for a 5xBB raise in EP. So a PF fold seems ok?

As played is much tougher. Seems like turn is laydown as he is unlikely to fire two barrels with anything that you beat as said b4.

It depends on what you consider a "decent regular," i.e. range of JJ+,AK, also considering how his set is going if he is a multlitabler. I know you don't know the answer to this, but I generally lean towards they could be tilting from one bad beat. Even "decent regular's," make a raise with 66-TT in this spot. When he makes that bet on the flop you need to raise and get it all-in now or on the turn.

you should've raised the flop to find out where you're at

Why not do this with 44 or something? You almost certainly need to fold against a re-raise and you don't figure to get called in this spot. He is drawing to two or less outs if he folds to your raise so you are better off just letting him stab at it with JJ or AQ. Basically your hand doesn't matter when you raise (assuming you don't call a shove) so there is no point doing it with hands that have showdown value.

Hand is well played imo. The Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is the worst card in the deck.

this is the answer, everyone read this.

Except there's a big gap between "decent regular" and "big winner". I need to know it's the latter before I let this go on the flop.

But then again, if he's too big a winner, and knows me, he could be capable of firing a pot-building-looking 2nd barrel. But he'd have to think I'm capable of either floating with JJ, or some trickeration, or of folding AK. Possible, but not likely.
