Doug,

Obviously, I think you are a smart guy, and that you play well. The one hand I most disliked was that first one against Jamie. When I watched it, and you open-raised and he reraised, I was thinking that you MUST not fold. My thoughts were that Jamie was very capable of doing this with any two cards, to resend the message to the table, that this is his tournament, and none of you had better mess with him. As such, since you had a decent hand with AJ, I would have simply reraised all-in at that point, or done the stop-and-go if the chip counts were such that he had to call the preflop push. If your hand had been much weaker, I would have done the stop-and-go irregardless of the chip count.

Did they show that hand on TV? If so, I forget what Jamie held.

Congrats again, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

good points, and i guess i wasn't thinking about the implications of the raise when jamie made it, more like, do i really want to play AJo OOP...oh well, we'll just have to wait till the same spot arises again.

a couple hands later, i limp behind a couple limpers and gold limps

flop J25, i lead out around 400k, gold calls.

turn comes offsuit 7. i check, gold bets 700k, i call, planning to snap off most rivers.

river comes Q. i think for like 5 seconds, and move in for a little less than pot. gold looks at his cards, and says, you're good, and mucks. ugh.

Note to Ignacio: Random insults to long time posters is not the way to endear yourself to the forum.
