not to mention that when hunting for the one seer, the wolves have to kill off the villagers who haven't roleclaimed anything, which means all the confirmed villagers stick around and add up until they have a lock on the game. kill the confirmeds and the seer peeks more confirmeds... search for the seer and end up killing the unconfirmeds in the process... it's lose-lose unless you actually manage to hit the seer. We had an idea of who the seer was last game, but we ended up not killing him because if we kill him and we're wrong, then we've entirely [censored] ourselves because we would have been able to get him lynched if we left him alive and he wasn't the seer

I will devise a somewhat complete ruleset if you want me to. It will probably end up looking quite a bit different than this, although I will keep the spirit of the game intact as much as possible (I haven't really thought about this game for half a year, so off the top of my head I don't know what I want to do, so no promises on how many changes I make). But I'm not gonna take the time to do this unless I know you're going to make use of it.

Soah,

What do you think about not PMing health to the players?

I reread the entire D2 and D1 threads and wrote notes to myself, I'm not going into this without thinking about it thoroughly obviously.

The Mystic and the Ranger were both a HUGE pain in the ass last game. They are essentially seers, albeit slightly limited. But they can confirm themselves and confirm others, and find evils.

In a game where players can confirm themselves, there really should be no seer type of roles at all, otherwise the confirmable people all confirm themselves and the seer people confirm the rest and it's a lock. There's basically no defense against it aside from luckboxing lynches and nightkills on all the strongest roles immediately and then playing perfectly to get almost all of the unconfirmable villagers lynched.

OK, so after reading the Ranger role, I have another suggestion:

It reveals who they acted upon, not the act itself. Leaves some ambiguity.

EDIT: Mystic could be improved by removing the ability to target a player, and just getting a list of what was done. Perhaps give the evils the ability to fake an action?

Just because evils were awesome ;P
I just felt overwhelmed by the rules etc.
Too much for my small brain to comprehend
