gg is right, that is crazy that they even survived that.

The passenger is still in the hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses are saying they saw him racing a silver Viper. He lost control of the car, fish tailed a few times then slammed into the tree.

I realize there's like a million Vipers in the world but the Hulkster has one too.

That would be pretty messed up if the Hulk let someone borrow his or even worse if he was in it.

There was a report that the Hogan showed up on the scene pretty quick. But if I received a call saying one of my kids were in a bad accident I'd move too.

I heard that Hulkster revived the passenger when he went into cardiac arrest by giving him a leg drop. True story.

As a watcher of The Hulks VH1 (MTV?) reality TV show, this does not surprise me. Nick was always into drag racing, speeding, etc. I can see alcohol not being involved but rather a simple drag race. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

Hope all involved recover.

Meh. Darwinism in action.

Was a nice looking rice rocket from whats left of it though. What a waste.

I "know" Nick from Supraforums.com -- some bits of info:

He's out of the hospital, the male passenger who was with him is in very bad shape.

The yellow Supra he crashed technically belongs to the Hulkster, and has about 700hp. Besides the base cost of the car they spent over $100k in body work and performance parts on it. Nick himself owns a green Supra.

I can't speak as to whether or not he was racing against the Hulkster in his viper, but I can tell you that Hulk was on the scene of the accident before they even had Nick extricated from the wreck. Also, the Hogan's do own a 2003 silver Viper, along with a yellow (obv) '06 Viper.

Even though Nick is pursuing a career as a professional driver, he's only 17. Giving a 17 yo the keys to a 700hp car is never a good idea, they just won't practice the restraint necessary to drive safely. Costly lesson learned, let's hope the passenger is alright.
