I generally bet the turn. The only reason not to do so is to induce a bluff/block by an aggro player with an underpair, so of course call the river as played.

I think betting the turn is pretty bad.

He raised UTG, called 3bet, then c/c'ed flop.

He can very easily be very strong and if you are betting turn, you should be bet/folding imo and that sucks.

Also river seems like a fold.

What does he take this line with that we beat besides some random bluff?

Hes never valuebetting worse

OP gave him reasonable set odds, for better or worse.

So a float on this flop is vv std vs a Hero who knows to CBet, if Villain is good.

And if Villain is not good, he could have random overcards or KT or whatever so value bet now.

And what exactly is wrong with bet/folding vs a good player?

P.S. we need reads for all this, not sure why OP garbled that up.

yes lets just randomly float someone who 3bet our UTG raise and cbet with a marginal strength hand, seems about right. oh yeah, we're OOP as well.

it blows b/c it takes all the value out of our hand. TX/99 is much more likely to bet the river/call a river bet than call 2 barrels on the flop and turn.

River is a fold.

This hand brings up a common situation which I hate: UTG opens, I repop with JJ or maybe TT, if he calls and is a decent player I'm boned the majority of the time, yet just calling his open pf sucks because we usually have the best hand.

I hate playing JJ to UTG opens.

looks standard, i like it. sometimes he has a weird K like AK/KQ spades, but a lot of the time he just sees the K as a bluff card.
