Re: General Interest Thread for Mac version of next gen PokerTracker

I haven't used a Mac since the old Mac Classic nearly 15 years ago. Those of you with experience, what kind of database options would there be for Macs?

Josh,

I am fairly sure PostgreSQL is a ciable option on Max OSX - it is a UNIX after all

(no Mac OSX for me, just unreliable info based on my random browsings)

PostgreSQL and MySQL both work on OS X

I see no reason why PokerTracker 3 will not be Mac compatible.

We may need some of you as beta testers though

You mean it will run natively or compatible through virtualization?

Some people are still on PowerPC macs and a native OS X version would be amazing.

It should run natively on OS X. Everything we are using/coding is cross-platform compatible; therefore, it should run on OS X, Windows, and Linux with no problems. Now obviously this is theoretically, we have not tested it yet and some problems may arise but this is what we are shooting for...

I'd be happy to test anything at all.
